The role of the health visitor is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
District Nurses provide care for housebound patients only.
The treatment room clinic covers the same care as the district nurses above but are health centre based, for patients who are not housebound.
Our Mental Health Nurse is here all day on a Wednesday and we have a phone clinic available on a Friday afternoon. Pre-bookable telephone and face to face appointments are available. Please ask reception for more details.
Our APP is here on a Tuesday afternoon. APP's can assess, diagnose and give advice on pain and movement, as well as refer you for further treatment, arrange x-rays and provide medication if required.
You can be referred to podiatry if you have a medical need - please note that personal foot care only is not covered by the NHS.
